Speak to a Star Clippers
On Star Clippers, you will find that there are no rigid schedules. You are free to do as you wish with your days and evenings.
To entertain you at certain ports, Star Clippers brings local performers on board to give passengers an authentic taste of the local music and arts. So, rather than enduring another Broadway revue, you can enjoy the conviviality of fellow shipmates while a live band plays tropical tunes from a real paradise.
The Captain and crew are excellent improvisers of the kind of light-hearted fun you’ll only find on Star Clippers. The Captain’s daily briefing on deck is thoroughly informative, as well as a chance to hear some great storytelling. There are other events and activities, such as the hilarious crab racing contests, that have evolved from Star Clippers’ sailing heritage. In fact, many passengers say that it’s the easy-going informality of Star Clippers that makes a cruise with them so enjoyable.
Clearly, this is an extraordinary cruise line.
Star Clippers’ chefs make dining aboard a delectable culinary adventure with an international menu of foods from the far corners of the earth.
When you wake up, help yourself to a continental breakfast with Parisian croissants, toasted English muffins or sweet Danish pastries, or enjoy a full breakfast with fresh tropical fruits and crisp bacon, grilled sausage, smoked salmon and omelettes cooked to order in the dining room.
At lunch, a tantalizing buffet of seafood, salads and grilled favorites awaits you. If the day includes a stop at one of the island paradises frequented by Star Clippers, you might also be treated to a delightful outdoor barbecue on shore.
On all three ships, you are free to dine when and with whomever you wish – including ship officers, who join guests in the dining room most nights.
There’s no need for formal gowns and black tie, casual elegance is the order of the day and every single night.

Join the Captain on the always-open bridge as he plots the course for the next landfall. Learn how to splice a line, reef a sail or tie a square knot.
If it’s a beach day, you can swim, windsurf, water-ski, sail a Sunfish or explore in a Zodiac. Star Clippers’ sports staff will be glad to offer assistance, should you require it.
On Royal Clipper, a unique marina platform lowers to sea level, giving you immediate access to watersports activities. You’ll be taken to remote reefs, underwater wrecks and blue lagoons where marine species are in abundance. You can be confident that your environmentally friendly sailing ship will leave the world’s pristine places as clean and unpolluted as when it arrived. Whether you decide to glide among the emerald-clad islands of the Caribbean, enjoy the once in a lifetime adventure of an epic ocean crossing, be charmed by the ancient, sun-warmed ports of the Mediterranean or be intrigued by the mysteries of the Far East and Central America, each and every voyage aboard Star Clippers will be a little bit different from the one before – or after.
